Fireweed
A duo group featuring Jackie Kincaid and Deborah Ellen Hale, bringing to you their blend of bluegrass and a soulful classic country sound. They play traditional country and bluegrass hits along with original songs.
Jackie Kincaid, a Nashville singer/songwriter and recording artist originally from Meadow Bridge, WV, has over 40 years of professional performing experience in bluegrass and traditional country music. Jackie has worked with Larry Sparks and the Lonesome Ramblers and has appeared several times on the Grand Ole Opry and at the Ryman. He is an accomplished artist and musician on mandolin and guitar and sings both lead and backup vocals.
Deborah Ellen Hale, a Nashville singer/songwriter originally from Anchorage, AK, began singing and playing guitar in her early teens and has been writing songs for over 20 years. Deborah has performed in events in Alaska, Tennessee, and North Carolina. She is deeply passionate about music and songwriting. Moving to Nashville in 2018, Deborah began playing in local writer’s rounds and released her first self-titled EP, I’m Movin’ On, in April of 2020.
Meeting Jackie at a local bluegrass jam, they hit it off — and Fireweed was born. Deborah lends her vocals and rhythm guitar to the duo’s performances.
